Service offerings

We offer 100% CO2 refills and testing of CO2 cylinders.

Rapid CO2 cannot fill any CO2 cylinder past its hydro test date until it has been requalified.

We also offer testing and refills for nitrogen based ABC fire extinguishers.

We do not offer mixed gas nitrogen/hydrogen/oxygen, paintball or SodaStream refills.

Hours of operation

All services are fulfilled on-site at our Rapid CO₂ facility located near West Hunt Club & Merivale Road at 74 Auriga Drive Unit #4, Ottawa, ON.

Open:

  • *Payment is due at drop-off or pick-up. To keep turnaround times quick, we do not offer net payment terms.

    We fill all standard cylinders used for kegerators, homebrewing, aquariums, soda fountains, and more. All tanks must have a valid hydro-test date and use a CGA 320 valve.

    We offer hydro-testing for these specific cylinders.

  • Keep your CO₂ fire extinguishers in top condition with professional recharging and hydrostatic testing. Whether you need maintenance for your business, restaurant, or industrial facility, we provide expert services to ensure your extinguishers are fully operational.

  • We offer 100% CO2 refills and service CO2 cylinders. We do not offer nitrogen/hydrogen/oxygen, paintball or SodaStream refills and cylinder testing.

  • We charge $8.50 per unit for disposals.

    When an ABC extinguisher is brought to a disposal facility:

    1. The extinguisher is inspected and depressurized safely

    2. Remaining chemical powder is removed

    3. Usable components may be salvaged for parts or training

    4. The steel cylinder is recycled as scrap metal

    5. Powder may be repurposed for controlled training applications where permitted

  • We offer 100% CO2 refills and service CO2 cylinders. We do not offer nitrogen/hydrogen/oxygen, paintball or SodaStream refills.

  • At this time, we do not offer pickup services. All CO₂ refills and fire extinguisher services are drop-off only at our Nepean location.

    This helps us keep turnaround times fast and pricing competitive. For most CO₂ refills, drop-offs are quick and easy — and we’ll notify you as soon as your order is ready for pickup.

  • Fire extinguisher service pricing can vary depending on the type, size, condition, and required service for each unit. Some extinguishers may need a simple recharge, while others require hydrostatic testing, internal inspections, part replacements, or complete overhauls.

    Because of this, we provide custom quotes after inspecting the extinguisher. This ensures you only pay for the service your unit actually needs — no guessing, no flat-rate overcharging.

  • Draft, fountain drink, and other CGA 320 CO₂ cylinder refills are completed in under 10 minutes. Fire extinguishers require more thorough inspection and testing and will take at least one business day to complete depending on volume.

  • Yes, all refills use clean, food-grade CO₂ — safe for beverages, aquariums, and more.
